Description
This 36V drill will work with Multivolt batteries only. It will not operate with 18v batteries. If you currently have Hikoki / Hitachi 18v gear then all you need to do is purchase a new battery (BSL36A18) and this battery will operate on your new 36V drill and also your current 18v slide tools. The battery will also be able to be charged in your existing charger.
MultiVolt gives its user AC Power with DC freedom, now made even better by a level of convenience and superior technology you won’t get from other tools. MultiVolt gives double voltage supply in one battery (not included) meaning you simply snap it into place and power on, regardless of whether you’re using 36V or 18V tools.
